The juicy, sweet flavor of this watermelon gummy is one of my favorite tastes in the world. It reminds me of the overly delicious packs of bubble gum from my youth, except, more grown-up and balanced in flavor because of the chili flakes.

If you’ve ever had a spicy cocktail, the salty chili flakes that are used on the rim are the same ones embedded in (and coating) this delectable vegan treat. I chewed my gummy slowly, allowing the chili to reveal itself while I enjoyed the sweet rush of the watermelon flavor.

Having this edible around family is SUCH a smart move because it doesn’t get you so lit that you can’t function. It contains 5mg of THC from solventless hash, which helps you ~chill~, which helps you to relax, which makes you (surprise) happy.

An hour after eating my gummy I was tasked with going outside to water and prune the rose bushes. Ordinarily I might have rolled my eyes and been like, “Ugh, why!?” But I was feeling curious about my mom’s flower garden, and I wanted to see how her plants were doing. I actually really appreciated her letting me help.

Eventually I was like oh shit, what if there are snakes out here. I went back to the house and made myself a fat grilled cheese sandwich. At this point I was two hours into my trip, and I was enjoying the tastes and feels of home so much.

Three hours into my adventure I was still feeling good, and I decided to harness the power of weed to soothe the pain in my neck. I broke out the family yoga mat, and stretched blissfully on my mom’s clean floors in the AC.
