One Wyld 1:1 Pomegranate Gummy is the perfect dose for me. It's strong enough to relieve stress, yet perfect for socializing.
Sunny G is like the weed love child of Zoe Kravitz and Jason Momoa. Hip, sexy, and hypnotic.
These truffles are a true tranquilizer. If I'm ever sick, stressed, or completely drained, I eat one of these and hibernate for 8-10 hours.
A true guilty pleasure. I wish there was a CBD-only version so I could binge-eat the whole bar.
I smoke this before monotonous activites like running, coding emails, or scrolling Instagram. It's a great strain for animating routine to-dos.
What is the most memorable high you've ever had?
My high school French teacher made me stand on a chair and recite the alphabet after commenting that I looked “aux yeux rouges,” AKA “red-eyed.”
What's the most interesting relationship you've formed due to cannabis?
Looking back on the last 10 years, I can honestly say what I love most about this industry isn’t the plant, it’s the people. I find every relationship I form in cannabis interesting and am forever grateful for being part of such an extraordinary community.
Do you have rituals with cannabis? Does it vary at home vs on-the-go?
I tend to consume at home. As I've gotten older, I find that cannabis causes me anxiety in crowds and among people I don't know well.
What's the most crucial quality of a great cannabis product for you?
The smell. It has to smell good for me to even want to touch it.
How has your perspective on weed changed since joining the committee?
If anything it has reiterated the need for technology platforms like Proper.
What do you typically use cannabis for?
Nothing and everything. I smoke when I'm bored, when I need to relax, and more often than not because I just feeling like consuming cannabis.
What was your first experience with weed like? Where were you?
I was sleeping over at a friend’s house and brought a stolen nug courtesy of my older sister’s stash. We decided to sneak out of her house via her bedroom window to find a smoke spot in some nearby woods. We fashioned a pop-can pipe and smoked. The only other thing I remember is wishing we rinsed out the pop can.
What is the one piece of advice you would tell someone walking into a dispensary for the first time?
Ask the budtender for recommendations based on your desired outcome. Are you smoking to sleep? Paint a picture? Hang out with family? If a budtender only makes recommendations based on THC, move on.
