Farmer & the Felon’s Cherry Punch offers a consistently relaxing high that inspires creativity and insight.
IN REVIEW: Farmer and the Felon’s Cherry Punch is a fruit-forward,
Cherry Punch is a 28.86% THC hybrid flower with bright notes of fruit and berries. The aroma has a sweet tartness to it, and the smoke itself is smooth. Farmer and the Felon sources its bud from cannabis pioneers like Valeria Corral and WAMM (Wo/Men’s Alliance of Medical Marijuana). WAMM Phytotherapies is dedicated to cannabis accessibility for low income households and creating more sustainable plants and packaging. Farmer and the Felon also partners with Last Prisoner Project on advocacy against prison sentencing for nonviolent cannabis offenses. Together they speak out against the hypocrisy, cruelty, and wastefulness of the war on drugs.
“I felt like I was floating on a lake of tranquility.”
Cherry Punch is the product of Cherry
This is something that should be enjoyed in a turn of the century Bohemian cafe, or the grand atrium of a tech-based think tank. Just something to kickstart the creative juices, and maybe establish a cherry-scented sesh in your smoking circle. All I know is that when this high had me in its grips, it was as if I was being shown the blueprints to a series of tangible truths.
Though thankfully, this high never got away from me. While strong, it remained manageable and fun. I established a long flow-state with this flower, and oddly enough, I didn’t become ravenously hungry like I tend to with most bud. I won’t go so far as to call it a diet strain, per se, but if someone calls “the munchies” a side effect, then this was side-effect free. I felt supremely calm through the entire experience. This ethereal buzz started in the head and wound its way down through the body like a slow-moving backdraft cutting through a maze garden. A fantastic way to unwind and recover from a workout or grueling day at the rock quarry.

Through partnerships like that of Farmer and the Felon and WAMM, we’re seeing a renewed focus on social justice through cannabis cultivation. The passions they share for bringing an end to marijuana criminalization and advocating for marginalized voices resonates in the plants they grow. The sense I got from smoking this strain was that of discovery and gratitude. A good start to thinking about the world around you as a healer, instead of a dealer.
This is a sweet-tasting flower with aromatic hints of diesel and skunk. It’s as consistent a smoke as I’ve had. Each session I enjoyed with this strain really did speak to my creative side, and I was thankful that it also eased my pains on the physical side. I was filled with an urge to express myself, and it might prove effective as a way to break through any mental blocks or hang-ups you may be holding on to. It should snap you out of mundane thinking at its most basic level and introduce you to a side of yourself you forgot existed. Expect a refreshingly revelatory high, and for this stoner, it’s one I’m eager to revisit.
