The smoke coated my mouth with a sweet and creamy feel as if I was drinking a milkshake, and as I exhaled the smoke exited my lungs as smooth as it entered before finishing with a slight spearmint aftertaste that lingered only for a minute or two. I made my way to the couch for some light-hearted television, excited to enjoy the high to come.

Typically, my preference is a sativa or sativa-dominant hybrid. And with this being an indica-dominant hybrid, I was slightly worried about being glued to the couch. I prefer a more productive high, and to my surprise what I got was just that. There was an initial head high, but it wasn’t too severe. It was more of a slight euphoric feeling that left me feeling floaty.

I was completely aware of everything going on around me (in a good way), and never found myself feeling paranoid. The body high was present and pleasurable, starting from my head before it slowly flowed down through my shoulders to my torso and legs before it ended at my feet with a tingle that left me very relaxed, but not immobile. The effects stayed true for about 90 minutes before I felt the need to take another hit. Which I happily did.

Playing hockey for 20+ years and training in jiu jitsu for five has left my body pretty beat up. And having had regular issues with my knees and back, I try to look for options that are not over-the-counter drugs for more of a holistic or herbal remedy approach that will still ease the pain.

Once home I could start to feel the toll on my body the training took, and decided to smoke again. This flower does a great job relaxing the body and helping you forget about anything physical that may have been ailing you. And even though the CDB content sits at less than 1%, it surprisingly does the job a higher CBD percentage product does for me. The next morning I woke up to a slight haze, but by the time I was up and around the feeling went away.

There is a time to be blitzed out of your mind, but to me this product did not affect me in this way despite its higher THC content. Though I imagine you can get to that obliterated point if you smoke a whole bowl by yourself. I have never been one who likes to get so high in one sitting that I miss most of my night, so two or three hits will usually do the job until I’m ready for another quick session, and this worked great for that.

It was cerebral and relaxing while still allowing me to be active if I pleased.
