So here I am, with the week bouncing around in my head, and I’m looking for a way to give my poor brain a mini vacation. Thankfully I have something new to try from Mohave Select, and I'm ready to pop open the little black tube that promises a better night ahead. I took my first big inhale of light but earthy smoke, and I found a hint of berry lingering at the back of my tongue. A potent inhale with a bit of fruitiness is always a sweet surprise.

After a few puffs at the kitchen counter, I grab my phone and head to the couch. It hits me reasonably quickly, and I'm pretty sure I even said, "that was fast," out loud to no one in particular. I doubt it was, but I was able to find some vintage video games I'd been looking for. Cheap, like $4 apiece cheap. So, if this is starting to sound a bit rambly, that’s because that’s exactly what I was doing most of Friday night. I'm usually a relatively quiet person, but I guess Mohave Reserve knows how to unclog a random torrent of questions.

Seriously, it was fun. Like college dime bag fun when a bunch of stoned 19-year-olds come up with a way to save the world. It was always disappointing the next day when no one could fully remember or explain that plan. So much for world peace. The point is that Gelato N Cream sent me to a really fun place that was much closer to home. This is the perfect strain to share after a dinner party with your closest friends. You'll suddenly start to remember the hilarious.

Thoughts come from a place that’s calm and infatuated with the wonder that still exists in the world. There are good stories of kindness and courage all around us, but it’s hard to hear them through the din of angry voices. So a little mini-vacation with a pre-roll helped me mute the news, my phone, and my negative self-talk long enough to rediscover some very simple beauty in the world.

I'd call this a nearly transcendent head high with some deep body relaxation. Gelato N Cream is rich and earthy with a sweet, ever-so-subtle hint of mixed berries. It didn't burn my throat like I often do. (I'm still trying to break that newbie habit where I inhale too much too deeply, hold it, then eventually cough out all the good stuff.) I don’t remember exactly how long I felt this blissfully high, but it felt like hours. I finally dragged myself to bed after running out of burning questions to explore online.
