From what I could find out about this “out of this world” brand, it seems they’re going in a different direction when cultivating their flower. They aim to create new, exotic, and funky strains that are on a totally different level. They’re regularly bringing new genetics to the cannabis community through their pheno hunts, and are at the top of their game when it comes to taking well known strains and helping them meet their highest potential.

Ted Lidie, the founder of AlienLabs, is a second-generation farmer from northern California, and he has an abundance of knowledge and experience in the cannabis world. His focus lies in creating quality new strains that could cater to the cannabis connoisseur, or those looking to elevate their game and enjoy an interdimensional experience.

I was lucky enough to try their Xeno strain for this review. An indica hybrid grown indoors, this cross between Zkittlez and Kush Mints offers a chill, upbeat and happy high. The flavors and aroma offer sweet, fruity, and herbal notes that, when coupled with this high, will make you feel like you could be in the Garden of Eden. It's focusing, mood-boosting, and rides the perfect line between being relaxing and calming. And on top of all of this, it helped me deal with sore muscles, and gave me some much needed relief from a stressful day.

As soon as you open the container, the tantalizingly fruity and herbal terpenes come through and awaken your senses. It’s as juicy and fruity as if you just cut up a fresh bowl of citrus in midsummer, and what I smelled could only be described as lovely and complex. I decided to use my recently cleaned one-hitter for my experience with this Xeno flower, and thought that it couldn't be graced by any netter ganja than this.

I always try to use a hemp wick to ensure I get the true terpene experience, as I didn’t want butane to mask anything from this masterpiece. It was such a smooth smoking experience every single hit. No coughing or burnt flavors, and it hit my lungs in the most pleasing of ways. The strong, floral-forward profile matched the aroma, and it felt like I was floating in a pitcher of sweet herbal tea.

While I went about my day, the high gently rolled in. It was a very heady high. It was in my face, and heavy around the third eye as though I was in a fog. Beware as the onset is quick, but know that at the same time you’ll be covered with a blanket of relief. I felt truly relaxed, and this Xeno strain also alleviated a sinus migraine I’d had for a couple of days. Not all strains help me with headaches, but this one was so nice and did the trick.

It also helped me focus on what I needed to accomplish that day. My body felt light and relaxed as any aches, pains, or anxiety were shown the door. It was an out-of-this-world high, but in the most gentle way. Like the most effective herbal tea nightcap that takes the edge off and invites calm and soothing energies in. And for something so intense, my experience with Xeno eventually just dissipated into thin air. It went away without really any real notice or disruption.I never felt overly zoned out, which is a feat because for me, some indicas can get to be too much.

I really enjoyed the uplifting spa-like moment this flower brought to me, and needless to say, this flower made me a fan of AlienLabs. I feel like I could trust any of their products for an overall rad experience. Xeno is versatile, and I’d recommend it for almost anyone. Especially cannabis connoisseurs looking for that unique and balanced smoke sesh. Every time I look back, I can’t help but think about how great of a day I had with this flower. It turned my aches, pains and bad mood into a happy euphoric evening. Pick this up when you need to power through and getting into a mindset that will make you feel like you can conquer anything.
