This caffeine and cannabis infused energy drink will jumpstart your day in an epic way.

IN REVIEW: Lightning Drops, a potent THC-infused beverage from Thunder and Lightning, delivers a powerful morning boost with its tea-like flavor and effects. Packed with 100mg of THC so you can dose through your day, it offers the perfect balance of energy and focus for tackling tasks, workouts, and even gaming. Ideal for high tolerance edible lovers, Lightning Drops helps fight stress and depressive thinking while providing an uplifting, clear-headed experience. Be sure exercise caution with dosage to avoid anxiety-inducing effects.

Each 2 oz. bottle has enough caffeine and THC inside of it for you to embark on a major work, like perhaps a life-size replica of the Great Wall of China. To say this is a suitable morning boost would be like saying chloroform is for catnaps. In reality, each bottle of Lightning Drops contains no more caffeine than a regular cup of coffee. It's the whopping 100 mg of THC that propels this drink into the stratosphere. Perfect for high tolerance edible lovers who are looking to turbocharge their day.

As someone who errs on the side of caution, I took about two capfuls, which put me at about the 20 mg THC range. That was more than enough to set me off on a litany of house chores and manual labor tasks. Despite the workload, I found this sense of wide-eyed optimism permeating my every pore.

This high dosage beverage from Thunder and Lightning tastes like tea and hits like a sledgehammer. That's not to say I was some sort of jittery mess. I wasn't. Rather, I felt awash with uplifting vibes and had the sort of clear-headedness that allowed me to focus on whatever I chose to give my attention to.

Taking a break from moving around furniture and throwing out old junk, I managed to engage my cousins in an online computer game built for middle-aged dudes. In it, we play chefs who have to work together to create various meals for impatient customers in a timed setting. One of us is usually cooking rice or chopping vegetables while the other mans the burners, and we all are expected to wash dishes when we can.

Typically, it's nerve-wracking stuff, but this medicated drink had me so honed in I was like the second coming of Super Mario meets Gordon Ramsay. Surely, if this silly game brought me so much pleasure, I can only guess how the realistic VR stuff they have out these days or the myriad of open-world or first-shooter games would pair up with such an uplifting and sharp-minded high.

Whether it was fun I was after or just getting stuff done, I seemed to excel at a level that belies the stereotypical stoner image. This is one concoction that puts energy and attitude at the forefront. Great for stress and depressive thinking, but also effective for working out and puzzle solving.

I would practice a bit of caution here. This potent drink is only 2 ounces, and if you misjudge the dosage and do not have a high tolerance, what should be an energizing and mind-expanding elixir can easily turn into a cosmic washing machine of anxiety.

To say the least, this drink makes a fine coffee substitute. Lightning Drops puts those tiny gas station energy drinks to shame, and it only contains 50 calories. The onset is suitably lightning fast—about 15 minutes, but I could swear I felt this creep up on me after only 10. It is the ultimate morning buzz, something that catapults you into your day and creates a sort of productivity warpath.

This is something I'd gladly reach for again, either when I'm dragging or just want a bit of sustained tunnel vision when it comes to completing arduous or problematic tasks. Handy, tasty, and packing a punch, Lightning Drops is the perfect cannabis-infused motivator.
