This cannabis infused root beer delivers a sweet tasting high that is both relaxing and joyful.

IN REVIEW: This cannabis-infused root beer is a sweet delight that pairs perfectly with chill days. With 10mg of THC, it's a euphoric treat that not only sweetens your taste buds but also relaxes your body in mere minutes. It's the ideal beverage for lounging around, watching sports, or just winding down after a busy day. And don't worry about the sugar, as long as you're not downing a six-pack, you're in for a blissful, restful experience that will make a believer our of anyone who doesn't consider themselves a root beer fan.

I consumed this Root Beer the day after Thanksgiving. I figured with all this pie I have left lying around, what's another 56 grams of sugar? I’ve never been much of a fan of root beer but I did not find this to be particularly disagreeable. If you have any sweet tooth whatsoever you will find a friend in this beverage. More importantly however, it brings the good vibes to a day of lounging around with family. For 10mgs of THC this is one buzz that hits the sweet spot in more ways than one.

The onset is fairly quick. At about the 15 minute mark I got the flutterings of a happening. The tension in my face began to dissipate and my perspective had shifted from a state of agitation to a place of calm and repose. By the half hour mark I was in full blown chill mode. I was visiting my sister and decided to take a break from all the craziness of a house full of screaming kids.

The sounds of my nieces and nephews playing percolated the air while I watched World Cup soccer on the patio. I even had my niece make me a sandwich from the leftovers. I thought to myself, what’s my sister’s problem, this parenting thing is a cinch. I ate turkey, took a cold soak in the pool, celebrated some soccer goals, and when all was said and done I dried myself off and clonked out in front of a roaring fire. The holidays sure are grand but enjoying them with a total body buzz is that much grander.

I had no problem kicking back and letting the weight of the world dissipate before my very eyes. As a stress reliever this sugar cane beverage gets some top marks. I felt eternally chill and while I had a restful nap I could not help but sense a bit of grogginess when I woke up. 10 mgs turned out to be just the right amount of THC to help me recuperate from the previous day of running around. 56 grams of sugar however is bound to make you crash at some point.

Just as long as you aren’t guzzling 6 packs of this you should be in for a euphoric and relaxing time. Mary Jones also runs a fun promotion where you can submit a photo and if they like it they will publish it. Once high you get to thinking about this and I had at least a dozen shots to send them. Mostly of my dog.

Ultimately I decided not to send them anything because I didn’t want to break the news to my black lab that his glamor shots were for naught. He doesn’t take rejection well. Then I thought how wild it would be if all photo journalism in the future appeared on the side of a cannabis infused root beer bottle. “And this years Pulitzer for photographic investigative journalism goes to the guy who captured a UFO hovering over the skate park as seen on the label of a 12 oz. bottle of Mary Jones.”

This infused root beer is like a special treat you crack open when you just want a bit of peace and quiet. Great for getting a massage, watching some TV on the couch, taking a nap or having an introspective walk in the park. It may work best as a night time buzz. Something to help wind you down.

In that regard this could also make a worthy alcohol substitute. While the front end of this high is euphoria driven with mild analgesic properties the tail end is a sleep inducing chill elixir. Turning even root beer detractors like myself into true believers.
