Even the bottle gives off vibes of premium hard liquor. I thought it would make a fine gift, so I presented it to a friend of mine at his birthday shindig. Soon, shot glasses were procured and we all engaged in the time honored ritual of clinking our glasses and downing our “spirits.” What sprung from there was a joyful river of sustained euphoria. Lots of good vibes were found in this citrus and herb accented beverage, and I think it would make the perfect addition to any party worth its salt. Speaking of salt, you know the margarita glasses with salted rims came out to add some further legitimacy to the experience.

As I was foregoing booze at the time, this was a great way to join in the celebration without saying something inappropriate, falling down the stairs, or peeing in the punch bowl. I instead found myself in my friend’s pool, drifting on an inflatable giraffe and succumbing to the gentle breeze of the warm SoCal Sunday. The onset was no more than 15 minutes, and after my initial shot, I waited a few hours and before making myself a faux margarita. This all added up to about 15mgs of THC over the course of three or four hours, which was just enough to send a tingle of electricity throughout my body and open me up to the present moment. I think I may have stared at this one house and its ghost projection machine for an inordinately long period of time.

As I was approaching my street, I passed a Stagecoach museum that I had never given any passing thought to. For the first time ever, I saw the grounds had been taken over by what seemed like a Bluegrass band playing to a packed crowd. I had to check myself and silently wonder if I simply drank too much of the cannabis infused Jalisco Agave Essence. I felt like I was suddenly transported to another time, and I was all in. I stood on the periphery of this bonafide ho-down and tapped my toes along with a small sea of country western outfitted revelers. I was not expecting this, and therein lies the beauty of this high. It had propelled me to seek out an adventure I didn’t even know I wanted.

My desire to be a part of the collective spirit was palpable, and in that regard, this drink was the perfect social lubricant without the brutal comedown. The seamless commingling between the essences of tequila and cannabis allow you to mingle yourself, and after the solitude we’ve all had to succumb to lately, what could be better?
