Palms, Peaches And Pre-Rolls

Justin Bieber teams up with Palms to deliver a low-key buzz with his Peaches pre-roll.
IN REVIEW: Peaches Pre-Rolls by Palms are the Justin Bieber branded smokes you’ve seen popping up in shops across town. They deliver a light and pleasant buzz despite coming in at a lofty 33%
Named after The Biebs hit song Peaches, this pre-roll is not unlike the song itself—catchy, sporting a nice hook, and filled with a rhythmic quality that can get your toes tapping. One thing that does not quite jive is the low-wattage experience when compared to the eye catching THC level of 33%. If you have an image in your head that tells you a 33% pre-roll is bound to split your wig, you should rid yourself of that notion.
Like many of Palms offerings, this is an easygoing cruise ride free from the perils of many similarly high-THC tested pre-rolls. The smoke is very smooth and gives off a light, fruity aroma that is easy on the palette. While the peach taste is somewhat lost here, you do get a mild citrus kick that’s great for enjoying outdoors on a warm day.
Rarely can I finish off an entire pre-roll in one sitting without being supremely zooted, but I had no such issue here. As a midday smoke snack, this did a fine job of putting me in the right frame of mind with no side effects to speak of. So for those with a higher tolerance, this might be a bit on the weak side. But for beginners or even midrange smokers, this should come on as a pleasant buzz that makes socializing all the more easier.
This collaboration between Justin Bieber and Palms has the added benefit of shining a light on mental health. Having described his own battles with addiction and suicidal thoughts, Justin Bieber joins the masses in seeing cannabis as a valuable medicine for treating depression. He could not have picked a better partner in Palms as I have always found their pre-rolls to be an ethereal and joy inducing experience. Its Peaches offering is no different.
While I found this pre-roll to be on the tepid side of things, that in no way means I did not catch a ride on the Good Vibe Express. I smoked this during the holidays, and I had no problem getting in the mood for a fun-filled outing with the family at a local Christmas market. As the sun set, this local park lit up its Christmas trees and oversized candy canes to transform itself into a Winter Wonderland.
Since getting high for such things is de rigueur around the holiday season and I was well oiled from the Peaches pre-roll, I was more than ready for my walk around and to take in the yuletide spirit. Floating from holiday installation to holiday installation while swaying to the nostalgic masterpiece known as Frosty the Snowman, I was able to transport myself to a place that is made of pure innocence and goodness.
The overriding sensation I got from this high was an undercurrent of happiness that seemed to linger in the lower extremities. Sources of my stress were temporarily placed aside and I found that I was able to tap into a more positive way of being. One may also be better able to, I daresay, tap into a more carnal state of energy. I believe it was the great Justin Bieber himself who said: “Yeah, you got that yummy-yum
That yummy-yum, that yummy-yummy. Yeah, you got that yummy-yum. That yummy-yum, that yummy-yummy.” When high off the Peaches and in the vicinity of your main or off-main squeeze, one might realize that truer words have never been spoken.
