The Fully Loaded Tin As Good As Sin
These hybrid-sativa pre-rolls should be your next go-to for getting into nature.
IN REVIEW: Each of these pre-roll packs has seven joints filled with 20.29% THC flower. Their cigarette style and form make them discreet, and every pack comes with matches and a strike pad on the tin—meaning you have everything you need to get high. Take 'em camping or keep them in the glove box for an impromptu adventure. Expect balanced and uplifting effects to help you drift between feeling floaty and focused, so while they're great for creative endeavors, don’t depend on them for a deadline.
Most of my life, I’ve moved every couple of years. This has created a need to explore new places and environments frequently. It's part of my identity to get out of the house and hit the road. One of my favorite past times is to adventure in nature, and it’s very important to my routine. It grounds me, helps with my mental health, and maintains my connection to Mother Earth. Last week, I decided we needed to get some fresh air and take a break from our day to day.
“As soon as you slide open the lid, the herbaceous aroma hits your nose for an inviting experience.”
A favorite place to visit, The Eastern Sierras, is extremely magical. If you’ve never been, let me set the scene. As you drive along the 395, you see all types of imagery. There are mountain ranges with crisp, snow-capped peaks on one side and dry, dusty mountains with drought-resistant plants on the other. There's the valley with thick green grass, hot springs, roaming livestock, and coyotes howling at sunset. The views look like a painting, land that's undeveloped and perfect as is. And that’s before you even head up into the mountains.
The air is freshened by pine and aspen trees. Rainbow trout fill the creeks, blue jays are curious about your presence. We have our favorite go-to campgrounds, but this trip we decided to cruise and explore the unknown. We found a new BLM spot, and it was perfect. Thirty minutes down a dirt road, and we had no idea what was at the end. We found a spot near a creek and set up camp. I decided this would be the perfect time to chill, take a breather, and spark up a pre-roll. As luck would have it, I brought the perfect product with me. If you haven't heard of the brand Ervana, I encourage you to check them out. They’re a California company all about connecting with nature.
Their flower is, “Cultivated with care to help soften the edges between life and play.” On top of that, for every ounce Ervana sells, they plant a tree! All of their packaging is 100% recyclable and made from up to 85% post-consumer waste materials, printed with sustainable ink, and produced in a zero-waste manufacturing system. You don't find many brands taking that extra step to be ethical, sustainable, and consciously helping our environment.
They have a couple different products, flower, ceramic vape cartridges, and slim tins filled with seven, half-gram pre-rolls. I brought a tin with me. It’s sleek enough to fit in your pocket comfortably, and it also comes with matches and a strike pad on the bottom. The flower inside is a sativa hybrid, my favorite! As soon as you slide open the lid, the herbaceous aroma hits your nose for an inviting experience. I lit my hemp wick with a match and had a couple lovely puffs. The flower was earthy and bitter in taste, perfect in every way. This joint was such a delightful smoking experience, I wanted more!
“My high was euphoric, floaty, and peaceful.”
As I waited for a high to present itself, I took my shoes off and sat by the creek. I noticed a lot of wildlife surrounding our site. A couple different bird species; robins, bluejays, and another type I hadn't seen before. It was an American Dipper. It sat on a rock facing upstream, dipping its beak into the water looking for bugs to eat. Then it jumped right in, gently plopping into the water. It repeated this pattern over and over until it went underwater for like 10 seconds. I got a little freaked out, but didn’t realize It had floated downstream with the current. I was stoned and just over observant, or maybe under?
My high was euphoric, floaty, and peaceful. I felt light on my feet yet grounded. I was straight chillin’. I noticed a heaviness under my eyes, and I was a little parched. Luckily, we packed many beverage choices. It’s important to stay hydrated at elevation! My high lasted a nice amount of time. It became intense for a short moment, but mellowed out seamlessly. If you aren't able to get into nature or it's not your jam, I would recommend this for a yoga class, mood boost, or focusing on a creative project. This Ervana half-gram pre-roll was refreshing, stress-relieving, and elevating. I felt one with the earth.
