It Puts The Cool Stick On Its Skin
Review by Kate Manson

Yes, it is as strange as it sounds.
My body constantly reminds me that I’ve reached an age where something always hurts. Seriously. Sitting, standing, sleeping—I’m never safe from annoying aches and pains.
So, you can imagine how excited I was to find out I would be reviewing Wildflower’s infused topical product, Cool Stick. Full disclosure: I am a big fan of Wildflower and think of myself as an unofficial ambassador for the Washington-based brand’s Immunity CBD disposable vape pen and CBD capsules. I recently started incorporating both into my daily diet and have seen a decrease in my anxiety and insomnia symptoms in less than two weeks.
But what the fuck is a Cool Stick, you ask? The Cool Stick is an anti-inflammatory
Like most of my legal pot experiences, I spent the first 30 seconds cursing child-proof packaging but was eventually able to remove the Cool Stick lid without help. Once opened, I was pleasantly greeted by a subtle minty scent. I naturally imagined myself stripping to my skivvies and recreating an Irish Spring commercial. (If you don't remember the semi-sexual nature of Irish Spring commercials, you’re probably not even old enough to buy weed.)
“The Cool Stick’s effects lasted around 30 to 45 minutes, and seemed to help ease any stress-induced tension. . . ”
Not typically one for following instructions, I first applied the Cool Stick after a rigorous and sweaty afternoon of rowing in the wind and rain on Lake Washington. The stick rolls on easily and stays in place, which means there’s a 99 percent chance you won't get any in your eyes, mouth, or poopy butthole. You may be asking yourself why this matters? Well, recently while high I made the mistake of flossing my teeth after picking my butt. It was wholly fucking unpleasant and made me question how I’ve made it this far in life without the supervision of an adult nanny. The Cool Stick’s effects lasted around 30 to 45 minutes and seemed to help ease the stress-induced tension in my neck, shoulders, and forearms.
For my second application, I decided to kick things up a notch. After doing an hour of yoga to a microtherapy playlist and foam rolling until I cried, I decided I deserved a bath. One of my favorite places to consume cannabis is in the bathtub. I love that I'm stuck in one place, stoned, and unable to endlessly scroll my Instagram feed.
I'd been saving my last Kush Queen bath bomb for a special occasion, like a perfectly random Tuesday in May. So after an hour in the bath, and following a Harlequin X Tangie joint by Cannabelle, I was feeling very relaxed and ready for bed. I applied the Cool Stick again to my neck and back, my crack (sorry, I had to), and my calves. It doesn’t leave me feeling greasy and Wildflower’s lightweight formula doesn’t stain sheets or pajamas. The CBD-rich minty combo was intoxicating to my senses, and the perfect addition to my wild night in.
I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and limber. And because of the CBD, my body was also happy with me. If used alone, the Cool Stick likely won’t treat all of your aches and pains. But as part of a treatment regimen that also includes CBD capsules (and stretching) the Wildflower Cool Stick can definitely bring balance to your health and wellness routine.
